An excellent exposition of the doctrines contained in the 2nd London Baptist Confession. It is not, as I expected, a discussion of the Confession itself so much as of the doctrines. Waldron does give pertinent information regarding the Confession (such as when it varies from the Westminster & Savoy) but the emphasis is decidedly on unpacking the full extent of and biblical basis for each of the positions of the Confession; he sometimes goes beyond what the Confession states and fills out the statements more. The appendices are also excellent and do mostly deal more directly with the Confession.
